I started Dotty’s Little Bakery inspired by my Grandma Dotty, a woman who believed that a little extra magic (and a lot of butter) could turn even the simplest treat into something unforgettable. Her kitchen was my first classroom, her handwritten recipes my first textbooks, and her love for sharing food with friends and neighbours is the heartbeat of everything I do.

Fast-forward through a few years in office jobs, a leap into professional kitchens, and a whole lot of chocolate tempering, and here I am: running a luxury bakery from my home in Greater Manchester. I create hand-piped iced biscuits, celebration cakes with satin-smooth chocolate ganache and interactive dessert experiences that let guests become the artists. Everything I make is a little nod to Dotty, playful, personal, and made to bring people together.
Now, about that “ingredients snob” thing…
I’ll be honest: I don’t compromise on quality. Ever. Especially when it comes to chocolate. Only the best (hello, Callebaut couverture chocolate!) makes it into my mixing bowl, even if that means my prices are a little higher than your average bakery. I believe every bite should be a treat, and that luxury is in the details: the taste, the texture, and even the way your order arrives, wrapped up with a hand-sewn card and a little extra sparkle.
Dotty’s Little Bakery isn’t just about cakes and biscuits, it’s about creating moments, sharing stories, and making every celebration feel special (and delicious).
